Junior League: Ages 7 - 8

The Junior League plays 7 inning games. For the first 3 innings, the kids bat the ball from a tee. The last 4 innings a coach pitches to batters. This league uses a Little League hard ball. Batting helmets with safety cages are required. The teams have 16 players on the roster. The diamonds have a 60-foot base path. All players must play at least 4 innings in the field. Everyone bats. The defensive team is allowed 12 players in the field and 2 coaches in the field. Normal baseball rules are altered to promote learning and safety.

The Junior League will start play with a practice game the near the end of April. The regular season starts the following week. The playoffs start mid-July and end late July (allow two weeks). The season ending picnic is Saturday after the championship. There is a 1 game Championship game.

Games are played at Diamond #2 which is located directly south of the field house. Some games will be played at Legion Park (Bryn Mawr & the river)
