Major League: Ages 11 - 12

Major League plays 7 inning games. The kids pitch to batters all 7 innings. This league uses a league hard ball. Batting helmets with safety cages are required. The teams have 14 players on the roster. The diamonds have a 70-foot base path. The pitcher's rubber is set at 48'-6". All players must play at least 4 innings in the field. Everyone bats. Normal baseball rules are altered to promote learning and safety. There are no leadoffs but stealing is allowed.There is no stealing home. Games are played on the diamond located at the corner of Lincoln and Sunnyside Avenues.

The Major League will start play with a practice game in late April. The regular season starts the last weekend in April. Some games may be played at River Park (Foster & the river).

The playoffs start mid July and end in late July. There is a 3 game World Series. The season ending picnic is first Saturday after the World Series.
